CrossFit is extreme training done with basic gym equipment for people of any age or fitness level who just want to work really hard. The vigorous training program combines sports competition with Olympic weightlifting, basic gymnastics and high-intensity interval exercises mixed differently day to day for a constant challenge that combats workout routine ruts. CrossFit is built to blast every muscle in your body while providing adequate recovery time for growth.

According to Crossfit.com, “The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts.”

Though CrossFit has long been used for professional training in law enforcement, firefighting, martial arts, and military circles, the program has more recently entered the mainstream. Revolution Fitness is proud to offer CrossFit, bringing this elite program from the West to East Coast under the trained direction of personal trainer Steve Trussell as part of the exceptional neighborhood gym experience.

Check out the Revolution Fitness training area dedicated to CrossFit programming, where named workouts are posted weekly and participants can record their times for fun, challenging workout you won’t find at other gyms.
